All volunteers advocate life from womb to tomb through prayer, peaceful witness, education, and advocacy. One of the tenants of our Catholic faith is the protection of the defenseless and those without a voice and these ministries promote that protection. This ministry is part of a nationwide effort to protect, nurture, and sustain human life.

The Sacristy is the special room in the church where the sacred vessels, vestments, etc., are kept. The Mission of Sacristan is to set up the vessels before Mass. After Mass, the Sacristan takes the vessels to the sacristy and sets them on the counter. The Priest or Deacon purifies the sacred vessels (ciborium, chalice, cups, carafe and cruet), which contain the body and blood of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Sacristans are dedicated volunteers who take care of these items. They serve on a rotation basis at the week-day and weekend Masses and are available for funerals, weddings, and baptisms.
